Your boat. Wrapped on canvas.
The same editorial typographic poster — printed on canvas and gallery-wrapped around an FSC-certified slim wood stretcher. Hangs straight out of the box, no frame needed.
Setting your name…
FSC slim stretcher
Real solid-wood stretcher, ~20mm depth. The print wraps the edges so there's no white border — gallery-style, ready to hang.
Hangs flat
Lighter than a framed print of the same dimensions. No glass to shatter on a galley wall, no D-rings to dig in. Pre-fitted hanging point on the back.
6–10 working days
Made-to-order in the UK, ships flat-packed and tracked. Free over £40. Bigger sizes ship in their own protective sleeve.
Why canvas, not framed
When the wall calls for canvas.
Gallery-style finish
A gallery-wrap canvas reads as fine art on the wall — softer edges than a framed print, less assertive than a glassed frame. On a boat galley or a living-room wall already busy with other framed pieces, the canvas adds depth without competing.
Lighter to hang, harder to break
No glass, no plexiglass front, no breakable corners. A 50×60cm framed print at A1-equivalent runs near 3kg with the frame and glazing; the canvas equivalent is closer to 1kg. Single picture-hook hanging on a stud-wall holds it without trouble. The wood frame is solid but slim, not chunky.
Three sizes, gift-band
30×40cm (£45) is the entry point — sits well in a galley. 40×50cm (£59) is the gift-anchor size — substantial without overwhelming. 45×60cm (£79) is statement-piece scale, best for major occasions or a big shore-side wall.
Where it sits next to the framed print
The unframed print from £19 is the entry point. The framed version from £39 ships behind shatter-resistant plexiglass — handsome but heavier, and the glazing can crack in transit on the bigger sizes. Canvas is the third option: no glass, no breakage risk, lighter on the wall, softer in the room. Pick framed when you want the formal piece; pick canvas when the wall already has framed things on it.

How it's made
No warehouse. UK press. Tube and tag.
A short note on what your order touches between "Buy" and "delivered." We don't carry stock — every print starts life the day after the order lands. It's slower than a same-day delivery, and a lot quieter.
- Press
- British production via our print partner — Wakefield or Royston, depending on order routing on the day.
- Paper
- FSC-certified mill stock. 200gsm coated silk for the standard print, 250gsm uncoated for archival.
- Colour
- You see sRGB on screen; the press prints in FOGRA39 CMYK. The conversion makes deep greens and oxblood reds sit a touch more muted on paper than they look on a backlit display. Worth knowing.
- Lead time
- 1–2 working days at the press, then Royal Mail Tracked 48 — typically 2–4 working days transit on the British mainland. We email tracking the moment it ships.
- Packaging
- Kraft mailing tube, parcel tag, no plastic. The tube is sized for the print, not for flat-pack convenience — there's a reason a rolled poster lays flatter than a folded one.
- If something's wrong
- Send a photo within 14 days and we reprint — see returns. Personalised goods are exempt from change-of-mind returns under UK CCR 2013.

- What's the canvas printed on?
- FSC-certified poly-cotton canvas, gallery-wrapped on a slim (~20mm) solid-wood stretcher frame. The print is on the canvas itself — wrapping the edges so there's no white border. No glass or acrylic glazing.
- How do I hang it?
- Pre-fitted hanging point on the back. Single picture-hook into wall stud or two screws — both work. No tools beyond a hook, usually under a minute on the wall.
- Can I see a proof first?
- The live preview is the proof. What you see is what we print, with colours sitting slightly more muted than screen because we convert to CMYK at the press.
- Returns?
- Personalised goods are made-to-order, so we can't accept returns for change of mind. If your canvas arrives damaged or wrong, email us a photo within 14 days and we'll replace it. Full details on our returns page.
